Skill Compass

Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), established under NSDC’s Skill India Mission, bridge the gap between industry demands and skilling needs. These autonomous bodies develop National Occupational Standards, conduct skill gap analyses, and align training with priority sectors. Supported initially by NSDC funding, SSCs drive standardization and self-sustainable growth in India’s skilling ecosystem.
